Exercise tips
If you are totally unmotivated to hit the gym...go anyway. Worst case scenario you stretch on a mat and can say you went to the gym...Best case, you get motivated once you're there and crank out 20 minutes!

Nutrition tips
Water, water, water. In September 2002, the Los Angeles Unified School District voted soda OUT of all LAUSD schools. I applaud this as one of the most important things we can do for our children. There is NO need for soda EVER. Soda is all sugar, carbonation, artificial sweetners and sugar. There is NO redeeming nutritional value to this substance AT ALL. Soda, like tobacco, exists to perpetuate the corporations making it. There is no other reason and it really bothers me. Be kind to yourself and fill your body with fluids that are VALUABLE to you; water, cranberry juice, orange juice (vitamin C), milk (calcium), etc. Every calorie counts and everything you put in your mouth should have value to your well-being.

Julie B Video - Preview It Now

Hi!  I'm Julie B, and I'm a mother of 3 (ages 8,6 & 5) !  Yes...I had 3 kids in 3 1/2 years and never thought I'd see myself get into shape ever again.

Months of poor eating, rarely sleeping, changing diapers and getting lost in motherhood left me tired, fat and drained.  In the past 5 years, I have turned my life around through the power of exercise.

It has been an incredible transformation, physically, mentally and spiritually. Not only did I drop 40 pounds and 8 dress sizes (from a 12 to a 4), but I have more energy, eat properly, and I am focused enough to create a healthy lifestyle for my children.
